Hush Little Baby
Try dye cutting this fantastic baby pram card and see how to glue cotton material onto card to make the baby's pram come to life.

Hush Little Baby
Card Designer - Michelle Johnson

TOP TIP: Use a Stix2 none stick crafting sheet to keep your project and table clean whilst using the PVA glue. Baby wipes will clean off the PVA glue.

PLEASE NOTE: These glues are acid free so the card could be used as an embellishment for your baby scrapbooking pages.

  • Scrap of pink and white patterned paper
  • Sakura white soufflé pen
  • Eyelet kit

  • Scissors or Craft knife
  • Cocktail stick

    Step-by-Step Guide

    1. Die cut the baby pram using white Bazzill card stock, also cut a white heart from the same die.
    2. Then place pink card onto the die only covering the wheels and the heart and proceed to cut.
    3. Attach some double sided adhesive to the pink cotton gingham. Then stick the gingham onto card large enough to die cut the hood for the pram. The card will ensure that the hood is quite sturdy.
    4. Trim along the perforated lines on the hood and attach to the base white card with clear foam pads.
    5. Attach the white heart and the pink wheels also using clear foam pads.
    6. Set a hole through the corner of the pink heart using an eyelet kit and draw a kiss onto the centre with a white soufflé pen.
    7. Once this has dried the writing will be white, then tie a ribbon and hang the heart onto the pram handle.
    8. Die cut 2 flowers from the same die using a scrap of pink and white patterned paper.
    9. Tie 3 knots into a small piece of 3mm white ribbon and poke the knot through the flower centre. Stick this to the inside of the wheel using 6mm craft dots to create a decorative wheel centre. Repeat for the second wheel.
    10. Stick 9 fuschia sequins at equal intervals onto the pram hood and one in the centre of the white heart using a cocktail stick to apply the PVA glue.
    11. Finally using PVA stick stars alternatively into the centre of the sequins. Pick them up with a craft knife or a pair of tweezers.
