We recently reached out to some of our current crafting favs and set them the challenge of getting crafty using the Stix2 Halloween Card Bundle.

What is your experience for working in your role?

I have been with the company for just under 6 years My role as an assistant accountant includes working closely with managers and directors assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts.

What do you like about working in your role?

My role is very varied, fast paced and no time to think, weeks blend into months.  I continue to build my skills and knowledge. The people I work with are not just work colleagues, we are there for each other – perfect team.

What is your background?

I am originally from Cramlington but have lived in Bedlington with my husband for the last 27 years.  I started my career on a factory floor many years ago but when I hit late 20s put myself through AAT qualification. Over the past 20 + years I have worked in accounts in Banking, Police, hospital, housing and then eventually came back to factories.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends this is very important to me and recently I became a nanna so everything is centered around him at the moment and if I’m not with family you will find me chilling with a gin and tonic, my favourite drink.

‘How-To’ Congratulations Card with Elaine, using Stix2 & SIZZIX

Celebrating a Results Day or Graduation this Summer?

Follow Elaine’s simple steps to create this a elegant celebration card using Stix2 and Sizzix craft products.

Items Used

Step 1

Take a piece from Platinum Silver Card and cut to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.

Cut a piece of pink to 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches and then a piece of white to 5 x 5 inches.

Matt and layer these together using the tape runner and some of the 3D PVA in the corners.

Step 2


Die cut 3 rectangle frames, foliage and flowers from the die set.

Step 3


Adhere the 3 frames onto the card using the 3D PVA in an Ultra Fine Tip Bottle.

These are fantastic for gluing fine detailed areas and die cuts.

Step 4



Stick the foliage down first using the 3D PVA and then add the flowers using the scrapbook craft dots.

Step 5



Add some glitter to the white foliage as shown in the picture using a glue pen or the 3D PVA and adhere to the card.

Step 6



Add your chosen sentiment to the front and your card is complete.

The Sitx2 Euros Challenge with Helen Kirkham Crafts

After smashing her first challenge in the back of the net, its seemed fitting to pass Helen a curve ball and set a Stix2 Euros Challenge!

Using Stix2 Items from her Stix2 Mystery Box, Helen was tasked with creating a football inspired design in time for the England v Netherlands Euros Match.

Helen chose her own Stix2 products and decided to craft a penny slider football card. Helen added football die cuts from Tattered Lace, and also used her Sizzix Die Cutting Machine.

  • 3D Hobby & Craft PVA Glue (Metal Nib)
  • Bare Necessities Transfer Foils (Red)
  • Double Sided A4 sheets of Foam

The Stix2 Challenge with Helen Kirkham Crafts

A Scan and Cut expert, with an abundance of energy, and talent when it comes to crafting. Helen seemed the ideal candidate for our first Stix2 Challenge!

Helen Kirkham is a Freelance Craft Demonstrator who you may recognize from Create and Craft TV or her social accounts: @helenkirkhamcrafts1

Helen has kindly been a long-time supporter of the Stix2 Foam Pads & Hobby and Craft 3D Glue.

Recently she got in touch to stock up on her Stix2 crafting supplies and we thought why not throw in a few extra surprises to keep her on her toes?

As a fantastic and diverse Crafter, who frequently mixes up her materials and is no stranger to live TV with Create & Craft TV, we knew Helen would be up for a little Stix2 Challenge.

Along with ‘the usual’ order we pulled together a little mystery box, with the challenge of getting crafty with the surprise items, to see what she could create!

Bravo to Helen, and thanks for being such a good sport.

This was such a fun and exciting coloration for all involved – Hats off to Helen who came up to us with the idea, can’t wat to do it again.

What is your experience for working in your role?

I started here when I was 18, did a joinery apprenticeship then window fitting before this. Been here about 8 years now and my job role is supervisor of the packing room and production.

What do you like about working in your role?

The things I like about my role are the different challenges that comes with it and the responsibility of making sure stuff is done on time and also making sure its done correctly.

I get on with everyone and always have a laugh.

What is your background?

I’ve lived In South West Denton for 25 years but recently moved to Westerhope in the last year so just 5 minutes along the road and round the corner from work. Abit of my personal background, I have 2 brothers and a sister.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my son and fiancé as we always go on little adventures. I enjoy seeing my family and also seeing my friends at the pub for the odd pint.

Fab Father’s Day Card, using Stamps & Stix2

Thanks to Elaine Mellor for this vibrant handcrafted Father’s Day card using craft stamps and Stix2 craft supplies!

Need a little inspiration for you Father’s Day crafts? – Look no further, our wonderful Stix2 Demonstrator Elaine as crafted this funky handmade card!

Here at Stix2 Anything we love seeing our craft goodies go form Stix2 HQ to the finished craft creations!

Elaine has chosen the most intensive colours form our A4 Tinted Card range and the results are so eye catching (pun intended!).

To adhere her card she has choses a crafters must have PVA glue: the Stix2 Hobby & Craft 3D PVA. As well as using one of our top sellers, the trusty Tape Runner.

Any dad would be thrilled to receive this on Father’s Day.

To achieve this design spectacular paper craft Elaine has used Spellbinders Dies from The Monster Collection. These can be purchases from most major craft retailers such as Craft Stash.

She has also incorporated Concord & 9th Sentiment Stamps. Dies and Stamps are a fantastic investment when it comes to crafting and these collections are the perfect example of that!

Purchasing universal stamps means they can be used all year round and you can reuse the same die cuts, creating bespoke cards for every occasion! – Well worth the investment!

Wow, wow wow! What stunning papercraft cards! All created at Elaine’s Springtime Craft Workshop at Purrfect Crafting!

We are so grateful for those to braved the rainy weather and made it along to the Stix2 card making workshop in Leigh!

I hope your jolly and vibrant craft creations brighten your day and you have a blast making them.

Elaine is a dab hand at card design and demos – you can tell by the beautiful collection of cards, that lots of fun and creativity was had at this event!

Workshops are a brilliant way to catch up with friends and make new ones. Arts and crafts are great for all ages and a wonderful way to come together!
