Our adhesive products are reliable and seamless and therefore ideal for creative projects such as personal diaries. Mini glue dots and foam pads help add dimension and our 3D PVA ultra fine tipple glue bottle provides precision for a refined end result.
Elaine has incorporating a magnetic disc to secure all those personal notes and compartments. Through using a max of Stix2 adhesive products she has created a flawless finish and the end result is stunning!

What is your experience for working in your role?
Before joining UK Industrial Tapes, I worked in the hospitality industry initially as a Hotel Receptionist and then progressing to Conference and Events Co-ordinator, and eventually moving into the accounts department.
What do you like about working in your role?
I began working for UK Industrial tapes in my current role as Accounts Assistant just over 16 years ago. I really enjoy my role as it is really varied and each day is different ranging from daily invoicing, allocating payments contacting customers and helping to resolve any account queries.

One of the nicest things about my job role is working with such a great team, we all get on well and help each other.
What is your background?
I was born and still live in Gateshead with my husband who is originally from Devon and we have a son and a daughter.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family especially my little grandson who was born in January. I also love going on long walks with our dogs and reading crime and thriller novels especially books by Martina Cole, Peter James and Kimberley Chambers.
I also enjoy going to music shows and concerts and have recently seen The Jersey boys, The Simon and Garfunkel Story and I’m looking forward to seeing Pink at the Stadium of Light in June.

What is your experience for working in your role?
I have a varied work history. I’ve worked in advertising, local government, private companies, a charity for disadvantaged young people, education and even for the police!
I started working for UK Industrial Tapes in March 2015, so I’m coming up to my 8 year anniversary next year! My main role is Sales Order Processor for the Stix2 side of the business.
I have done a bit of everything! Accounts, website, UKIT domestics, exports (back in the day!!), web marketing, general admin, packing! At the moment I split my time between sales order processing (trade and web) and marketing.
What do you like about working in your role?
I love Stix2 products as a crafter first and foremost so, getting to know the full product range has been great. It means when I speak to our lovely Stix2 customers, I can use my own product experiences to advise or make suggestions.
The thing I love most about working here is the people I work with!
They are literally the nicest, kindest, funniest (in the nicest way possible!!) bunch of people I’ve met and it’s a pleasure working with them every day! They put up with my terrible jokes, singing and my questionable festive hairbands!!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love spending time with my son (before the dreaded teenage years hit!!) and we love to watch comedy series, play football (I make a great goalpost!) and game together. We also love to bird watch and visit our local Wetlands Reserve regularly to enjoy the beautiful walks and see our feathered friends!
I’m really crafty and I’ve dabbled in lots of creative hobbies – cardmaking, scrapbooking, jewellery making, embroidery and cross stitch but my creativity has found its home in knitting! I absolutely love knitting both for all the things I make for my family and friends and also for relaxing and de-stressing.
One of my favourite things to do is knitting all my lovely work friends special Christmas characters – I will be giving out this year’s batch on Monday and I can’t wait to see if they like them!
